About Me

Born and raised in Bloemfontein, I had informal art classes until 2004. At the age of 14, I pursued formal art education at Motheo Fet College, igniting my passion for art. After college, I delved into graphic and jewelry design until December 2014. Following my move to Nelspruit, the breathtaking surroundings reignited my love for drawing, and I have never looked back. While art to me was initially limited to drawing and painting, my art studies exposed me to diverse disciplines, such as painting, drawing, woodcut prints, etching, engraving, aquatint, and pottery. Despite these experiences, my favorite medium remains charcoal, utilizing thick charcoal sticks, graphite pencil, charcoal PITT, and color-tinted charcoal pencil.
